BIO

I’ve had a passion for science and research since I was a child, and my desire to work in the field of research finally became a reality when I got into IIT Kanpur as a Ph.D. student immediately after completing my B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from NIT Silchar in 2020. I enjoy delving into new fields of research and following the results of my work into the uncharted scientific territory.

RESEARCH WORK

Some of the ongoing and completed research projects are named below.

SEISMIC DEMAND AMPLIFICATION IN EARTH DAMS DUE TO NEAR-FAULT GROUND MOTIONS CONSIDERING DYNAMIC DAM-RESERVOIR INTERACTION

(work is submitted to a top international journal; link will be shared once published)

AN EASY APPROACH TO IMPLEMENT DEGRADATION OF SHEAR MODULUS OF SOIL FOR THE SEISMIC ANALYSIS OF EARTH DAMS USING FINITE ELEMENT METHOD

(work is accepted for publication in a top international conference; a link will be shared once published)

SEISMIC VIBRATION CONTROL OF A CANTILEVER RETAINING WALL

(work submitted to a top international journal; link will be shared once published)

Building upon work done by a former lab colleague, I have developed a powerful tool for use in the identification and characterization of the processes in my model system. A major advantage of this development is its improved sensitivity, which allows it to detect subtle dynamic property changes in response to my experimental setup.

We still have only a very limited understanding of New Generations, New Diseases. Answering questions about this is essential for understanding the mechanistic role it plays on other scientific processes, and for developing tools to further explore this research avenue with more sensitive measurements and improved data collection.

In an effort to gain a better understanding of Scanning Electron Microscopy, I have recently begun to use a new technique to investigate the organization and functionality of the diverse parts of my experimental model. I am currently looking to expand this work by collaborating with other labs who have the facilities and prior experience to investigate this project further.
